Blessing of the Bikes will take place at 11 a.m. March 20 at MR Motorcycle, 774 Hendersonville Road in Asheville.
The Blessing provides an opportunity for all motorcycle riders to have themselves and their bikes blessed for a safe riding season, while at the same time providing an opportunity for camaraderie and friendship and promoting bike safety, along with a positive image of motorcycling to the community at large.
This nondenominational ceremony is open to all riders and all motorcycles. Although Blessing of the Bikes is actually religious, there are many non-religious people who make a point to get their motorcycles blessed every year. So, regardless of your religious beliefs (or lack thereof), you will be blessed and welcomed; you will not be lectured to or made to feel uncomfortable.
