Get a Grip with This Tire!
Because of the cold weather, I haven’t put a lot of miles on the Michelin Anakee II tire I just purchased, but, for those few miles I have put on, I like it. I bought this tire to replace the stock Bridgestones the bike came with. They were horrible on wet roads and gravel. When I moved to Asheville, I knew there would be more wet weather riding and that I would need a tire that gripped well on wet roads. This one does. It sticks. No comment on gravel yet but from what I can see of the tread pattern, it should do well. My next review will be on wear, some 10,000 miles down the road I hope. I bought this tire from Motorcycle Superstore for a good price with free shipping. I recommend them as well as your local motorcycle stores if the price is right.
